What is/was your fav motorcycle(s)?

Yeah it was in its day....and still today......I remember when Triumph came out with the Hurricane x-75 in 72 caused kids like me to day dream in school along with Kawasaki Mach 3's ....I owned a 75 mach 3 and its was not all i thought it would be.

I started riding in 72 on a Honda S90. Before too long I and my wife each had Honda 305 Dreams. Those were great riding bikes. Then I moved up to a Honda 360 and she moved up to a Honda 350 4cyl. Then I went to BMW 750 and the Guzzi 850T. Then after mving to KY in 77 got another Honda 350/4 and then Suzuki 400. Later on Yamaha 750 Seca and BMW 750/6 and on to my last 88 GL 1500/6. I would have to say the GL1500 was my favorite and next the Guzzi . Fell on ice in 09 and broke left hip. Riding wasn't the same since hip joint was only rated for 250lbs. Scared to drive the GL with wife and I on it.

Me around 1978 on a H-D Sportster and my Yamaha 550 maxim and Honda FT500 Ascot in 1985...in the garage you can hardly see the reflection of the plate was a Honda XL185 i had bought for my 1st wife to ride.

The bike I think about most in my 1971Kawasaki Mach III. I have owned several bikes after that which were better in every way but there was none that had the engine feel of the Mach III. I felt like you were rear ended by a semi truck going 90 mph when the power came on.

My 850 Norton Commando which I still have. Bought it new in 1975. Had a 750 Commando before that with the combat engine that was faster but not as comfortable.

My first bike was a Suzuki X-6 Hustler about 1966. It was really fast for a small bike.

I had a buddy s that owned the X6 back and the day and they were really fast. the X6 would scare Triumph 650s.

My very first bike was a new 1969 Honda 175 Scrambler. Loved that thing and put a ton of miles on it. Second fav was a 1983 Kawasaki KZ550 LTD.

My first bike was a off-road Honda MR50 2 stroke, Wanted a Cr125 but my father wisely didn't allow it, I was 13 at the time.
I probably put over 1000 miles on it in one summer, always in a town where the police would smash the engine if caught riding it.
They never caught me lol.
My favorite street bike was a 1965 Honda baby dream 150cc, was mint and only 1500 miles, Drove it everywhere.
My Yamaha FJ1200 was a close second.

Tough, kinda like choosing your favorite child! My 1975 Kawasaki Z1B 900 with a Kerker four into one header stands out, plus I was 23 at the time! Also my 1974 Yamaha YZ 250A which my son still owns. My 1978 Honda Goldwing GL1000 complete with the after market Vetter fairing and trunk box. My two Harley Electraglides were a lot of fun as I could bring my wife along comfortably on multi day trips. I love my current Superglide and Streetglide for different reasons. I can tell you my least favorite was my 2008 Suzuki DL1000 Vstrom. Fast but Heavy for the dirt plus in my mid fifties I should have bought the 650 wee instead. I’ve left out a few but I feel they were all a blast but in different ways.

I've owned a bunch of bikes. I still own my favorite streetbike and dirtbike. The old hot rod Hayabusa, and KTM 550 MXC. The '15 S1000RR will also never be sold, as it carried me through a bucket-list event.

In my 63 years 'Ive had everything from a Suzuki TS 90 to a Harley SuperGlide and everything between....23 motorcycles in all.
My fav bikes would be 78 KZ650 ....even though i was almost killed on it i still like it.....rode all over AZ on it.
1979 Yamaha XT 500.....spent more time on the rear wheel than both tires.....Bought new in 81 as a leftover
1974 Suzuki GT 380 .....bought used with 2200 miles ....was a great light touring bike....never broke or left me on the side of the rode.....traded off with 14000 miles
1973 Suzuki TS 185 .....bought new in high school.....rode the crap out of it.....sold when i went to college with 8k hard miles
I've been eyeballing a 71 TS 185 for a while now. I have the itch to explore forest service roads but I don't particularly want to do it fast.

As you might guess Mr Honda's RC45 has got a hold on me... a bike I
had always dreamed about-Honda dreamed up in 94... and it soon became
the ultimate V4 for me... From the aluminum tank... to the titanium
rods... single sided swingarm and Gp inspired tune flex frame... it's
a technical rolling showcase of engineering that even exceeded the
RC30 milestone..

Being in charge of an RC45 is horribly addictive... one ride begins
the fangs gnawing at your soul...

You may wear ear plugs but the distinctive syncopated beat saws right
thought like an agitated growl... Race oriented gearing (90mph in 1st)
means a fair amount of clutch slip... but with a robust package
straight off the NR750 you may incinerate the plates with
abandonment... instead focus on smoking the pack off the line chanting
more revs and more of that wonderful angry exhaust note...

The RC45 makes familiar roads feel different... "Don't slow down"...
it speaks in a reassuring voice... "I can go a lot quicker around here
than you're used to"... The RC45 takes in the bendy bits and blows
them out as bubbles...

You know that riding quick is a mind game and the kind of calm
telepathic messages that the RC45 sends you is more of an advantage at
anyone's level of ability... But while you struggle to hold it under
100+ speed nothing you have ridden feels as at home there... This,
after all, is the thin air environment for which HRC blessed it...

It's a dangerous combination... a rider with sport blood still
coursing through their veins and a homologated racer that feels more
and more at home the quicker you go... All to often you'll begin to
ride in that irritable way that's only you will enjoy... Rushing up
behind packs of bikes that could and should be going quicker... you'll
start the overtake with ludicrous more throttle than is strictly
necessary just to savory the catapult launch courtesy of a race bred
V4 meaty linear power...

The RC45 looks aggressive and you feel aggressive riding one...

I had VF750 in 1985 for about 6 months i bought used with low miles.....it was hard for me to ride it because im tall with long legs......really had a hard time riding over 30 mins without leg cramps....back then i wish i could have been born shorter.....so i sold....traded really for a Kawasaki 900 Eliminator ....ouch....wish i could have both bikes back now....those Honda v-4 500 and 750 were one of kind bikes....

2015 Honda PCX 150. I consistently got 108mpg and the thing did everything I wanted it to. Always ran like a top no matter how hard you pushed it. Pulled smooth and had really predictable handling.

Too bad Honda ruined it with the 2000 mile valve adjustments requiring almost the entire plastic body to be removed.

I grew up riding Suzuki TS250 and Honda 90 trail bike on camping trips to Baja. The Suzi was worn and tired but still got along OK. The 90 trail was fun enough too. But then a friend of the family introduced me to his Honda XL185S "enduro" (what dual sports were called at the time). I fell in love with the low-mid RPM torque and got addicted to 4-strokes. I have owned: 1981 XL500S, 1984 XR500R, 1988 XR250R, 1995 XR250R, 1999 YZ400F, 2003 XR400R (current) and 2016 WR450F (current).
My favorites are the XR500R, YZ400F, and both of my current bikes. (The XR250s were good bikes but I am a big guy and need an engine bigger than 250cc.) The XR500R was a special bike, found it used in great condition and it ran perfect for 10 years. So many good memories on that bike. It was a very big and heavy beast and after 10 years I longed for something lighter and newer and ended up with my current XR400. The YZ400F was special because it was the first truly modern 4-stroke motocross bike ever made, also it had a green sticker LOL. Rode that thing for 10 years with very few issues, such a blast. But it's nowhere near as good as my injected WR450. Basically I love any big 4-stroke single, the torque brings pure joy and the exhaust sound is so beefy. I have a soft spot for the TT/XT/SR 500 models but have never owned one. Here are a few pics of the classic oldies & goodies:

I've had a few. Ninja 250, Yamaha Virago 750, Yamaha XV920, Yamaha Fazer 750. The one I got most comfortable on was my Ninja 650R.

Wanted to step up to the Ninja 1000 but swore off bikes due to all the careless drivers on the roads. You can only be so defensive before your luck runs out.
