Some people are simply destined to be snobbish. Car snobs, wine snobs, mall snobs, truck snobs, clothes snobs, my-children-are-honor-students snobs, ad infinitum. And, yes, motorcycle snobs, which also don't appear to be in short supply here. Speaking badly of what others ride because YOU don't understand it...that's just poor manners. Who cares that you have a burning blaze of hate for the worst of the "other side"?
In the end, Japanese bikes are wonderments of technology, speed, and competitiveness. H-D's are wonderments of history, Americana, and brotherhood. Ride this one, ride that one, or ride both. The important thing is that you are a member of the riding brotherhood and are riding SOMEthing.
But really, have some manners about it or you sound like a big JERK no matter which side you're on.
