This winter won't die!

No offense but doesn't Saskatchewan get lots and lots of snow? Is this year really that different? I honestly do not know.

Yeah, the termonolgy changed from globall warmming to climate change so that no matter what happens to the long term climate they can claim that their theories were right and keep getting the funding they so despertly deserve.

Four inches of rain here, temps in the low 40's, and all creeks and rivers out of the banks.

Animals are walking two-by-two across my back yard.

Are they trying to tell me something?

Did you get any lumber deliveries you didn't order?

Dang it - the GTO STILL sits in the garage, covered up & filled with Z-Rod, waiting for the road salt to clear.

Just heard: 7-9 inches of thick slop snow coming.

OMG I may lose it.

This part of the province isn't known for a lot of snow, but other parts certainly are. This has been about the heaviest year on record for snowfall. And it's snowing again, right now.

Even if we were known for lots of snow in Regina, I'd rather not have a six foot snowbank in my yard in the last half of April.

No! No!

Makes me thankful for the rain we are getting right now...

WOW - 12" of heavy snow.

Plow piles 6' high.

HARD to get to work, roads closed, monster piles of slop from plows at intersections to blast through.

Oh, people are ticked.

Both of them have always worked outside in all weathers and heat simply does not bother them, (they don't like being cold - if it hits 60 degrees, they're freezing).

This Saturday, my Dad will be 94 years old and we're planning a party for him at his house.

Congrats on your Dad!!

There is a couple [in their 50's] out here in Dade County who have a very old house and have no A/C..Their kids, friends and all the relatives refuse to come over their house from April to November.

Just about everyone I know down here keeps their house and car at a comfy 75 or cooler temperature all year long..Most have a service contact where the a/c guy will be at the house in 24 hours or less if the a/c dies.

Mold [in my neck of the woods] is a big issue if the A/C is not on as the dew point stays in the upper 70's [or higher] from May-November.

This was last night after I plowed the driveway. Had about 6-8" at that time, and a lot more since then. Probably around 16" total. Left for work at 4:00 this morning, and it would have been impossible to go anywhere if I didn't have 4 wheel drive.

You guys can complain all you want; each time it snows here, I go outside and do a rain/snow dance in prayer and thankness to the rain gods. If we don't get massive precipitation, the entire state/western US is going up in a raging inferno this summer, and reservoirs like Lake Mead will get dangerously low.

Looks like more storms coming down the pike into next week.

It's not like we've had seasonal patterns like this before; I can't believe people are saying global warming this, global cooling that. I can't believe how short people's memories are.

I'm not complaining, I actually love the snow. Everyone else around here sure is though. My only complaint is that the snowmobile trails closed April 1st, otherwise I know what I would be doing this weekend.

Someone should create a water pipeline across the US, so that the areas with surplus water can ship it off to areas where there is a drought happening (like here in Colorado). Just run the pipeline next to the major interstates, and it can reach everywhere in the US with ease.

BC.

No need for head-clunking, Garak: Bringing them to Saskatchewan will be suffering enough.
