Ordered from them several times, very reliable service till I found my local dealer and almost $2 per/qt cheaper if you buy case of 12

Again, thanks for the replies. I did a little searching, and found, to my delight, a dealer here in my area. I'm in Sanford FL, and this dealer is in Orlando, which is about 15 miles away from me. I work in south Orlando, so their dealership is between my work and home. It's a few miles out of the way, but not many. Their web site is:

http://www.titanmotorsports.com/

Many of the online dealers I visited, including Summit and Jeg's don't carry 5W-20. Titan does, and they're competitive in price to the other dealers. Not only that, but they're but a couple of miles from my parent's house. So, when I go to buy oil from them, it will give me an excuse to visit my elderly parents. I'm sure they'll appreciate this serendipitous turn of events.

Haven't used it but on paper, it sure looks great. Look at the VOA on this site and you will see it has a fantastic add pack, coupled with pure ester base stock, which is supposedly the best synthetic base stock.

I'm headed toward 400k miles with Red Line in an 84 Honda Civic wagon. The head has never been off and it runs like new, and has original spec compression. If this keeps up, I'll be able to drive this car to my funeral.

I'm sorry, I was just cracking another one of my twisted jokes.

This is a little off topic but I just started using Redline Shockproof Heavy Synthetic gear oil in my Harley 6 speed trans replacing the 50wt HD dino gear lube. HUGE difference. Lets say smoother, quieter, easier shifting, etc. etc. Redline products seem to be very good from all the threads I have read on several forums. Just DO NOT break in a new engine on Redline.

Again, thanks for the replies. I just bought 6 quarts of 5w-20 from Titan Motorsports, which is on my way home from work, for $7.75/quart. Not much more than M1, and actually cheaper than 0w-30 Amsoil. I've been one of those who was hesitant to use 5w-20, but between those on this board who find it OK, as well as the fact that Red Line is supposed to be so good, I'm taking the plunge...

Yeah, yeah, I probably don't need Red Line. However, I have a Mustang GT, and drive it hard. Also, few foks here on BITOG are satisfied with "good enough". Most of us are seeking the best. Based on the testimonials on this board, as well as a few I've culled on my own, I'm going to trust Red Line. Overkill? Probably. However, it will buy me some peace of mind. I'll know when I'm winding the snot out of my motor, I have the best lubricant avaialable protecting it...

You might wish to visit the redline website and send them an application inquiry to find out what OCI they recommend for your applcation. It should be at least 1.5 times the manufacturers recommended....then it gets more cost effective. If you are still in warranty you may wish to wait and follow the recommended OCI until the warranty is up. Plus...there is nothing that is overkill about top shelf lubrication in a high performance engine. I call it cheap insurance.

I have about 2k miles on RL 5w-20. Extremely smooth. No complaints. Hopefully will sample at 10k miles. Going to try analystsinc.

3k on my sludger saab w/ rl 5W30 and a bit o' lc and a bit o' neutra. Gonna take it at LEAST 5k. That's a big step in this car. Gonna be an interesting UOA.

If it's the first run of RedLine, be prepared to see huge amounts of wear metals from the cleansing action.

A gentleman on one of the corvette forums is strongly anti-Redline because he believes the esters will react with moisture to form harmful acids. I haven't seen much here on BITOG re: this. Any comments? BTW, I've been using Redline MTL in my Prelude VTEC for years with great results.
