HPL PPMCO vs. Valvoline Restore and Protect?

It is not just the oils you posted as my car had some varnish and Redline Performance Euro cleaned it all off on the first use/3,000 miles. I will not be using that oil again as I can get HPL cheaper and it appears to be a better oil to top it off. Redline has priced themselves out of my market.
Thanks for that additional info. That is an oil I never would have considered.

A good way to look at it is the net $ spent. Once and done with Redline could be cheaper than 4+ OCI required with the other choices.

Since the original post on 30 July I've made the following changes:
  • Removed one quart of 5w-30 M1 EP and added one quart HPL EC30 to the Accord
  • Changed out he Fram XG7317 for a TG7317 after 800 miles of EC30
  • Replaced the dealer oil on the 2010 Prius with VRP 0w-20
  • Purchased HPL Premium Plus 0w-30 and a Fram Endurance 7317 for the Accord
  • Purchased HPL Premium Plus 0w-20 and a Fram XG10358 for the Prius V
No decision yet on the 2017 C-Max Energi because it is only 13k miles and 15 months into a recommended 20k or 24 month OCI. That's actually about 4k miles of mostly highway ICE use. Someone wisely asked "what are you hoping to achieve" and it seems that just sticking with M1 EP for this car makes sense. Maybe I will pull a sample at 15k for a UOA and then make a final call based upon the results.

I am sure. Definitely NOT the only too high prices to be found all over. I was in shock this week after doing some regular Walmart n grocery store shopping with the wife for the first time in a while. It appears near everything has doubled in price.
