Have a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. It calls for 0w30 motor oil. I know Mobil carry's it, but so does Pennzoil. Pennzoil states it is for Euro cars. Could I still use it in my Santa Fe? Even though it is NOT a European car?
Amsoil sells 0w30 non-Euro and 0w30 Euro, both SP Certs. I believe HPL does also.Have a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. It calls for 0w30 motor oil. I know Mobil carry's it, but so does Pennzoil. Pennzoil states it is for Euro cars. Could I still use it in my Santa Fe? Even though it is NOT a European car?

I would think euro oils would be better for oil burners - no? Aren't they typically low SAPS - or do I have this backwards?Euro oils are about the only good thing associated with Europe, other than the views you can see if you visit it. Any engine that’s not a severe oil burner can use Euro oils safely as long as it also carries your manufacturer’s recommended approvals.
There are some Full SAPS Euro Oil's and Amsoil even has a Mid SAPS Euro Oil.I would think euro oils would be better for oil burners - no? Aren't they typically low SAPS - or do I have this backwards?
API SP is most definitely low-SAPS. A full-SAPS oil would help a heavy oil-burner (quart every 500 miles) dispatch its catalytic converter in short order.I would think euro oils would be better for oil burners - no? Aren't they typically low SAPS - or do I have this backwards?
