Castrol edge EP - now claims 25K OCI

Hard pass on that unless it's magic and can keep a gdi hybrid from hitting 5% fuel dilution before 5,000mi during the winter.

I picked up a few 5 qt. jugs of 0w20 and 5w20 Gold Edge 20K at the AA 'Clearance' last year. I'd never run it anywhere near 20K but I would feel better if I went over my approximately 7500 mile OCI limit using this oil or Mobil1 EP. Former BITOGer Ghokan was very enthusiastic about this Gold Edge. I miss him on this site.

The delay continues for Castrol Edge EP (new label stuff). They may be waiting for an Elon Musk Group Rocket roundtrip with the Moon, to supply Castrol with non-Earthly Titanium for the formula.
