Is the new bottle 25k Castrol different in anyway other than the bottle?
Do they still use titanium?
Has anyone ran a VOA?
Does anyone think it’s better than the Mobil 1 esp or the valvoline ep oils?
Just curious. Haven’t seen much about it anywhere and its now available at a reasonable price locally so I thought I’d ask

They don’t use titanium anymore. Other than that, I don’t think the 0w20 flavor has changed. Through the label change, multiple API revisions, etc, the Dexos license number is still exactly the same, and the PDS has the exact same specs. Going back to like 2019 or something like that. I don’t know about the other grades.

from what I understand Titanium got rather costly, so additive blenders went more to moly. and other and possibly better aw components.

Don't know. I'd look at the approvals, instead.

I considered using it but went with Valvoline EP....instead.
Given Glenda's experience with it, I'd personally stay far away, but maybe it'll work in your application. Don't really see a reason to use anything other than VRP from the Valvoline line up (unless you need Euro specs) since even Valvoline themselves says it's their top of the line, premium oil.

Cliff notes? I'm not familiar with Glenda's experience.

there is nothing wrong with Castrol Edge EP ,in fact it is a good engine oil, though I am not a believer in a 25k interval, you will get good results in this oil like all of Castrol products.
