If I’m reading the bottle correctly, the date code is near the end of 2023. Still pretty fresh. All of the quart bottles of QSUP 0w20 at multiple Walmarts around me are from May of 2023 haha.

It’s fairly easy to find up here in Walmart and Canadian Tire. The 0w20 EP is unobtainium in person, unless you want to pay auto parts store prices. It’s even out of stock often online, or priced super high.
Not fair. You get EP 0w20 and the 4 Nations Championship? It’s fairly easy to find up here in Walmart and Canadian Tire.
Heard from Castrol and they basically repeated the words @Nuclear_42 has notedIt’s not really a big issue because as others have noted it’s probably the same formula. Just wish Amazon would be a little more specific. FYI if you contact Amazon customer service chat they will offer a partial refund to compensate for the different bottle.
But we still can’t get VRP or QSUPNot fair. You get EP 0w20 and the 4 Nations Championship?
Can you post their response?Heard from Castrol and they basically repeated the words @Nuclear_42 has noted

It almost certainly won’t be. As I posted, my stuff was only 2 months old and still had the old labeling and logo. I’d keep it either way.I just ordered the 3 pack from Amazon 0W20 EP. We'll see when it gets here Thursday. I'll reach out to Customer Service if it is not the new stuff.
it can't be just getting ridJust got my 5qt 3-pack boxes of EP 0w-20 from Amazon. They are indeed the “old” 20,000 mile version with the old Castrol logo. What’s interesting though is that all the bottles are dated 24331. Judging from other Castrol bottles I’ve seen, this means the 331st day of 2024, or late November. Weird that they would still be using the old logo on new product, but they’re probably just getting rid of existing bottles. It still has the MB 229.71 spec listed, which is really all I care about. Plus Dexos1, SP, etc. So I’m happy
The weirdest part was that one box showed up as itself (Castrol box), and the other one came in the Castrol box within another box. No idea why haha.
Why not? Can’t think of another reason. The oil I got is only 2 months old.it can't be just getting rid
I see they are continuing with the mutually exclusive “approvals” crap.
