I just saw this at a local NAPA store. Only this store has it, I was told, since the store is privately owned. They only carry the XL series.

Question: Is the XL series the real grp 4 true synthetic oil?
On the bottle, it's only A1/B1 rated though.

Well, anyone who can fog a mirror can become an Amsoil dealer. We have a local Carquest store that carries the full line. Curious that your Napa store only carries the XL series.

Maybe because the others are not API certified according to manufacturer specs?

NAPA stores are privately owned (franchise name concept). And the owner has less than 12 stores. However, some (good?) Amsoil dealer has this store as a Retail Account and they can get any product you ask for. But why not sign up with a BITOG board sponsor and not pay his retail prices?

XL series is a great group III oil which is API SM listed.

I'm pretty sure if they carry the XL series they can order in anything you'd like that Amsoil carries. It's all about shelf space, and any smart retailer knows to stock the shelves with fast moving products. They probably have the XL series because it sells well, and anyone who knows Amsoil will probably ask if they can order it in. JMO

Well, kinda sorta.......trust me, successful Amsoil T-1 dealers are not "mirror foggers".

That is exactly it. One other thing to mention. If the bottle has XL-7500 on it, it is an old container as that label has not been used in a few years.

Here is a pic of the current bottle and label.
