Wiper Blades

I have learned that Ford OEM replacement blades carry a different part number than the Motorcraft blades. I regularly get over a year out of the OE part number blades and the Motorcrafts are usually chirping bad enough that I replace them around 6 months.

I know you asked about 2 specific blades and if those are working for you there is no need to try to reinvent the wheel. Just sharing an experience I felt was somewhat related.
When I bought my F-150 new (6 miles) I do remember the factory wiper blades streaking the windshield after about 3-4 months. I had been making a list of items that needed to be attended to by the dealership. They replaced the blades and didn't need to be replaced for about another year or so.

I'm sure they were different blades then too but in my experience the build quality has flipped from MC being best to OE now being best.

For many years the OE oil filters where Champion labs products and the Motorcraft were Purolator. They may still be, I just can't say as I've examined an OE filter that closely in the past few years.

Argh. Hard choice. I would go Trico just because they aren’t Chicom like the Bosch are. Although, I saw decent service from a set of Icons, but they aren’t as nicely made as the old Belgian blades.

The blades that were on my '16 Buick when I bought it in August of '19 are still going strong. I need to see what brand they are. Possibly OEM, and if so it might be a good idea for me to use them again.

Claying the windshield is another great idea.
I spoke a bit too soon. My driver's side blade, I noticed this AM, has part of the rubber out toward the tip coming loose. The wipers still work perfectly -- we had rain today, and they kept the glass clear. I guess I'll make a trip to the dealer's parts counter soon.

WOO HOO!
My wiper blades will be here Monday, coming by USPS. I know everyone has seen wiper blades before, but being these are TRICO FORCE blades, I must take pics of them. 🙃

I find that when this happens to my blades(they start to tear), I snip off the lose end/piece so that the tearing doesn't spread any further. Oh, it may start to spread again in a few months but I snip it just because!

My wiper blades were SUPPOSED to arrive yesterday via the USPS. It states they're shipped but arrival is going to be late.
Santa Craws must be tied up in da swamp or bayou.

I just ordered 2 AC/Delco 22 inch OEM blades from Amazon for $13.54, free 2 day shipping with prime. Probably off shore sourced but we’ll see how they work out.
Got my blades in 2 days and put them on yesterday. Just in time as it rained most of the day. Work great, quiet, smooth and streak free. They were made in Mexico but so was my 2005 Chevy truck. 🙃

Nothing like new or at least good blades when the weather turn foul. Same for anything else on the vehicle such as its tires, brakes & HVAC etc.

I've found that wiper blade models and brands can be highly dependent on what vehicle they are mounted to. My van runs great with one brand and model of super cheap wipers, but those same wipers suck goat nards on a Toyota pickup or 4Runner.

Trico NeoForm 16-220 22" Beam Wiper Blades w/Teflon

Got two of these from Amazon vendor 1-2-3 wipers for $24.49 ITD. Arrived in 4 days. Put them on Sunday waiting for rain. Had these before on the Tacoma and they were good.

is there a size chart for wipers? i cant find one for my 2020 santafe..iwould like to buy
winter blades for it.
My 07 F-150 calls for 20" blades. I installed 22" for more of a wipe area.
Also, check out the TRICO FORCE blades I purchased off of FLEABAY. I read up on them, plus a lot of members here recommended them as well.
I just talked to my postmaster about my delivery. He said Shreveport, La. (that's where they are currently) is really backed up. He said there are a lot of workers not showing up, that and it's the Christmas season. He said to be patient, they will be here soon enough.

Currently running Trico NeoForm and they are working very well.

Have used Valeo beam blades in the past, and they were very good.

Bosch are OK, but overpriced.

Rain-X Expert Fit Beam Blades lasted all of 6 months for me before streaking and making noise.

Michelin branded blades are just horrible. Would never purchase any Michelin branded blade ever again.

Goodyear branded blades at clubs like Costco are also sketchy. The adapter system is not very sturdy.

Tried Silblades one time several years ago. Hated them.

Tried OEM knock off blades from Amazon (shipped from China and were literally identical to the OEM Blades) and they were quite possibly the worst blades I have ever purchased. They lasted maybe 3 months before streaking and squeaking. Thankfully they were only $10 total for both with free shipping.
