Which HPL for older truck?

My replies are just that, replies in a conversation with various members. I assume unless their name is Dave they are forum members not HPL employees or representatives. Maybe I've been 'talking' with some without knowing it. If I've hurt someone's feelings I would apologize but I've been criticizing a process not a person nor a product. I realize this is a members only forum and not the curb of main street USA as far as freedom of speech goes but I don't think I've harmed or libeled HPL so I don't feel any guilt about it.

If anything the more posts there are about this the more HPL's name is out there, as well as more posts on how to find what you want from HPL - which is the complaint. If you've been offended that I've complained and clarified about how a company has set up their website I don't know what else to tell you. So I'll end it with that.

Why would I be offended? This isn't about me.

My wife recently asked me why I was chuckling while sitting on the sofa with the laptop earlier today and I had to tell her it was because a group of (more than likely) adult males were squabbling again on the biggest internet site dedicated to talking about motor oil.

100% agree, their site is very behind the times, to where it under-sells the quality of the product.

I inquired on here once about if they would ever consider offering a motorcycle oil, and the response was that they do but that it apparently wasn't listed on the site. The advice given was to "call Mary Jane" to place an order. I had never heard of Mary Jane, nor did I have her phone number/extention. I bought a known high quality motorcycle oil from a different company online instead, where ordering was instantaneous. There's definitely an "IYKYK" aspect to certain HPL products.
I’ve tried to hit just about every thread like this since some people don’t know how to use the search function (it will find names in threads just like keywords 😬)

Mary Jane @High Performance Lubricants:
(815) 932-3288

Now you can save it in your contacts, and the next thread where somebody asks what Mary Jane’s number is, you can be the star of the thread! 👍🏻

It occurred to me earlier today the mods should sticky this info AND the oddities of ordering to not just the PCMO forum but HDEO, Euro, Motorcycle, etc. I'm not joking. HPL is a sponsor after all and it seems the mod team wants to help them as much as possible. Maybe that sticky privilege costs extra. If HPL is as good as advertised I'd like to see them succeed and have as many happy customers as they desire.

And I've found doing an outside google search gets better results than forum search functions. Also if folks didn't ask repeated questions activity would be cut by 2/3 and kschachn would be bored. On a serious note a lot of threads are outdated or filled with disinformation/bad conclusions/bad opinions. People that have 10,000s of posts might roll their eyes when they see re-asked questions but there's outdated info in the archives not to mention the PITA it is to sift through the flotsam.

My wife recently overheard me watching to a YouTube video on the "History of Motor Oil". She firmly believes I'm certifiably unstable 🤪...
