Which HPL for older truck?

Good Afternoon folks. I’m tossing around the idea of HPL PCMO 5w30 or CK4 HDEO 5w30 for my 02’ Dakota truck with 3.9 v-6. Not going 10w30 or 5w40 as 5w30 be fine since it doesn’t burn or leak oil.

PCEO $70.16 for 6qts versus PCEO Euro $96.29 for 6qts. 37% higher cost would be tough to justify if the PCEO was perfectly good for the application.

It's not something I can find by just starting at advlubrication.com. Where'd your link come from? Not the first time something is hidden in their website eg. Oil analysis kits.

I just tried to look for it from the main page and it's not there. I'm guessing they have some website issue where a link on their main page is missing or broken. I remembered hdmo and typed in "hpl hdmo" into Google and it and the accompanying pds doc are the first two things that show up so Google searching for it works.

Might be worthwhile to make call, in case listing is old and pricing incorrect.

When you go to the Main Page and hit Automotive Lubricants and all of the oils show up, click on the Link to the CK-4 Premium Heavy Duty Engine oil, at the bottom of the page on the right I think, there will be a Link to the Heavy-Duty Motor Oil.

Why it is not on the page with the other oils, I am not sure why.

Decided on the EIRO PCMO oil. Can’t wait to put some in Dakota. Hoping for more cleaning than what the NO VII 5w20 has done so far.

I have heard of the EURO PCMO oil from HPL, let us know how there EIRO PCMO oil works out 4 you. LOL

may buy some of that 5w-50 for my 05 accord to see if it’ll slow down consumption. that line looks like a solid choice for those wanting an oil based off of a HDMO pack

Well, I’m perplexed. Kinda want to try the euro oil but something about NO VII oils. Since spasm3 and the_critic say it’s almost a 10w30 (HPL 10w20 NO VII I may go with 10w20 or 5w30 NO VII. Engine runs strong and no leaks so a 10w20 won’t hurt it

HPL shoots themselves in the foot with their webdesign. Maybe they want to make useage exclusive to IYKYK.

It's not broken per se but if someone can't easily find a product they are looking for they're not buying it. They need to update their website. Right now it feels similar to In-and-Out that there's a secret menu. IYKYK
