How many miles do all those cars have on them a friend would like to know!

91 Taurus has 027368
1984 Fifth Avenue has 067000
1986 Chrysler turbo has 122000
1988 f150 has 040000
1984 f150 has 068000 original miles
1975 Ltd has 041000 original miles
1985 Lincoln LSC has 67000 original miles but due to the original cluster chip malfunction, now shows 111000. Had to swap clusters.
The miles with 0 infront is because it doesn't read in then 100s place. Probably rolled over at least once in most of them except 84 f150 and ltd

LOL at this rate of driving you should still be driving for another 15 years or more.

I am sitting in the FJ while legs and Casey are shopping. I have Castrol Edge 10w30 and a Wix filter in it right now. Oil was $1.95/qt on clearance @ Home Depo last year.

I will let this one go 5k.

Out in the garage, there is probably M1, QS, Kirkland and a little Rotella T. Off the top of my head.
And some elevated ZDDP stuff for the classics. Forget what.

2013 mazda 6 -- ~110,000 miles -- Thrive 0w20 -- used exclusively for ~70,000 of the miles on this car.
2015 mazda 5 -- ~115,000 miles -- Thrive 0w20 -- used exclusively for ~75,000 of the miles on this car.
Thrive is a decent though obscure brand very rarely seen on retail shelves.
My local trusted shop uses it for short 3k or 5k OCI requests.

I’ve never had a “go to” oil, I’ve always just searched for rebates (and when I say search, I mean, come here and you’ll find them).

I have an enormous stash of various name brand synthetic that I bought at Autozone when they were doing their clearance sale. Bought 55 quarts of RGT, Valvoline Modern Engine, and Quaker State Ultimate Durability. 20 or so quarts of that were RGT and with their own rebate, I ended up spending only $1 dollar a quart for the RGT and $2 dollars a quart for everything else. Really liked the RGT, engine seemed to use less oil on it.

Other than that, I used to hit the Mobil 1 rebate program they used to run...not sure if they’re still running that. End up paying around $2 dollars a quart for that.

And of I can’t find anything on rebate I’ll just buy Super Tech at Walmart.

But if I had to chose the “best” oil, I’d probably go with Amsoil.
