Thinking of HPL 10w-30 NO VII for Dakota

It emphasizes the suitability of 5W for colder temps. As of the hight temp value, it's just telling you you could get away with 10W. But nowhere does it say you cannot run a 5w as well (for higher temps). Remember, those manuals are NOT written for Bitogers 😀

Good Point. I ran 10w30 HDEO in it all winter no effects.
 
That’s not what this shows. It indicates to only use 5w-30 UP TO 32F; and to not run 10w-30 below 0F. Look at the direction of the arrows, and which end is squared off versus pointing direction.
I can read. I understand this too very well. I ran 10w30 HDEO thru winter and it did fine. What a true quality oil like HPL does for things.
 
Either way I still will run 10w30 HPL HDEO 10w-30 again this winter. We haven’t had a “real winter” since 2010 around here anyhow. Doubt the 10w will hurt anything.
