Good evening folks. As I sit here watching a thunderstorm; pondering which oil to run next in the 02’ Dakota. Have Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, frankenblend of Valvoline Advanced 5w30, Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30 and HPL 10w20 NO VII and quart HPL WC-30 brew. Or some 07’ era Rotella 15w40 or 80’s or 90’s Delvac 15w40.
You pick it I’ll run it: oil for 02’ Dakota

If its not an oil burner don't waste the Valvoline Restore and Protect.

I kinda wonder if there’s some light varnish I can’t see
But I have tons of the Delvac too.

Use the oldest oil first
If it was neglected like practically every dodge I've seen clean it out with Valvoline Restore and Protect and a good rock catcher oil filter.

Its a Dodge, dont waste the good stuff. You might have one of the only ones still out there. Rotella 25w40

I see quite a few dishes this vintage around here. Never saw a 25w40; wait there is no such thing
While I was at Wal Mart; snagged a lone jug of Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 in clearance shelf in outdoor section. $20
Off topic question: is the M1-209A equivalent to FRAM 3600? Supposed to do oil change on lady’s 07’ Liberty with 3.9.

Put a number on each version and use a random number generator like I did for which PG filter version for the Pilot.
Was all set to change oil in Dakota today after eye appointment. Then monsoon rains came. 
Tomorrow before the usual steak and eggs, plan to change it. Pondering Providence 10w30 or Delvac vintage.
