Hi @all,

here are my oil analysis compiled in a table of our Honda civic Type R, which is operated exclusively on the racetrack. The respective oil mileage for each oil was almost identical 5000 racetrack kilometers. The total mileage of the engine is currently 58000 kilometers.

That is impossible. Your engine supposed to explode using 0W40 or 10W60.
Actually, your engine exploded , but you are not telling us.
😂😂😂

I think you have enough data to know what to use! I would stick with that X4.

I was also surprised at first, because most people think that thin oils are developed exactly for certain engines, as you can see, this is a fallacy. I'm currently driving the latest racing oil from Rowe, let's see what the results say.

How are the M1 40 grades showing lower KV100 than the 0w20 Honda oil? Heck, how is the Rowe 10w60 showing lower KV100 than the 0w20? Surely these oils aren't shearing THAT much?

No conclusion, maybe, but it seems that the engine didn't care what oil was used. The factory oil shows low wear, but higher than some of the other samples. Was this sample taken early in the engines life?

What year or years is the FK2 Type R? The USA briefly got the FK8 and now the FL5.

I will correct the values, they have just slipped. I think that an evaluation of these UOA's is possible. I'm still sitting on Rowe Racing oils
