Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

Ok, I'm pretty set for a while...

I had to run an errand today not far from Walmart so on my way home I stopped there and picked up a jug of Supertech 0W20 and a Supertech filter. My next oil change is due in a few weeks. I was glad the oil and filter were in stock. A lot of times my local Walmart is out of either one or both. This time though both the oil and filter shelves were completely full, like they had just been stocked earlier today.

Me too, except I went for 15w-40 this time for our Honda instead. It took exactly one jug due to the 6607 being shorter than the 7317 and the small 1 gallon jug. $17 for an oil change is hard to beat.

Was the oil on sale? I should have gone in to look while I was there today, I was actually at the tire centre, 90 min wait? No thanks. I couldn't resist an ice cream though. :ROFLMAO:
Yes, $49 for 12qts. Pretty much the same as Walmart if I bought ST FS in 5qt jug, but I like qt bottles because the Malibu takes 4+ qts.

Bought online, costco.com.

Yaaaaaaa won't be the last time we see VR&P on markdown ;)
There seems to be a lot of people here that are predicting that this oil is going to quickly be discontinued but I have a feeling that it’s going to be extremely successful for Valvoline. It’s not going away at all, the buzz on this oil goes beyond just here. Many people are talking about it and there are so many older engines out there that need a good cleaning (or at least their owners think they do!). And this oil is very reasonably priced too. It’s not as if they are trying to get the DIYers to spend $50 a jug. It’s just a couple of bucks more than what a lot of people were already spending.

Shell Rotella gas/truck
Mobil Full synthetic
Mobil Annual protection

were all discontinued almost every retail location last 5+ years or so ;)
I bought 4-5 cases of the RGT when BJ's was doing clearance on it. I might still have a bottle or two left. Also got a couple cases of the Mobil FS when it was posted on the sale thread a couple months ago.

They all worked well.
