Very top-of-the-line. And some dump this oil at 3K miles.

I dumped EP 10w30 at 3k and almost ready to dump this same Euro 0w40 at 3k.

Not sure yet how long I'll let HPL run next. I'm most interested in how quiet these Hyunkia engines are with HPL PPPCEO and No VII. My engines have been kept clean since new. Once a year OCI of 7k and 6k is my goal.

Just ordered a 12 pack of Napa Gold Filters for the Mustang.

A note from Fleet Filter:

"We buy NapaGold directly from WIX, but some popular numbers might be NapaGold by Baldwin or Donaldson.

WE DO NOT SELL NAPAGOLD FILTERS FROM NAPA'S "NEW" SUPPLIER."

A fair price, but likely a good price beyond a couple years.

Good looking filters.

There seems to be a lot of people here that are predicting that this oil is going to quickly be discontinued but I have a feeling that it’s going to be extremely successful for Valvoline. It’s not going away at all, the buzz on this oil goes beyond just here. Many people are talking about it and there are so many older engines out there that need a good cleaning (or at least their owners think they do!). And this oil is very reasonably priced too. It’s not as if they are trying to get the DIYers to spend $50 a jug. It’s just a couple of bucks more than what a lot of people were already spending.
M1 EP synthetic oil + Rislone engine cleaner added to the oil can be found at WM if the Valvoline Restore & Protect is not available … Just a thought as a substitute combo I use every 2nd or 3rd OCI with my usual M1 synthetuc oil choice (M1 5W30 EP) .

In 1986, a moderately rich girlfriend at the time offered to buy me a brand new 911 (pay cash), if I married her.
I declined the offer and things got cold fast with her immediately.
For real ? If she was willing to buy me a 911 , I would have to think real hard not to turn such an arranged marriage down (lol !)

Just changed oil in the wife's '22 Tucson. I used Kirkland 0W-20 and some 5W-30 left over from an Ecoboost oil change. I used a Wix filter. I also rotated the tires. (20k) I'm happy to report there was no drama.

For Real! There was a hitch...... she had two boys around 6 and 4. I wasn't going that route.

Rislone will be in my Hyundai in a couple weeks. That's when it will inherit my remaining 13 quarts of Amsoil Euro 0w30...... which was noisy in the wife's Kia.
Hoping the experiment works. The Kia's getting HPL next..... early October.
