Walmart had the 5qt on roll back for 25.97 and there is a 10 dollar rebate online. I overpaid for the quart though. 2.0 eco boost takes 5.5 quarts so I hope next time I can find the castol again on rollback

been wanting to try the castol for awhile and now it seems to be getting easier to find and more reasonably priced.

Well it’s early but it’s quiet and smooth. I should be doing an oil analysis but instead I just change around 4000 miles each time since ecoboosts are hard on oil.

Normally my Civic 1.6 Diesel gets Shell Helix Ultra C2/C3 0w30 oil. This time I fancied a change and I've often found my cars sound nice and quite on Magnatec so it's got a straight C3 5w30 this time. Will be interesting to see if I notice any difference.

Deciding to use THE 5w-30 same oil in Focus. Thinking 10w-30 since it’s spec’d for the 02’ Dakota would do same as 5w-30. Maybe I am retarded, no filter which we all know, and overthinking this. But I can afford to change.
