Just sharing my new brakes on the 2017 Explorer XLT. This was to replace the OE brakes at 61,000 miles. Generally they looked good, though the driver side brake caliper bracket was starting to get some rust buildup in the channel the pads sit in. Probably could have gone a bit longer but I’d rather do it a little bit early versus late… we’ll see how well the rotors hold up. Chose the Wagner E-shield rotors and Bosch QuietCast pads. The heavy duty brakes on the Explorer are stout.
