My pop told me when I was 8 if I was going to drink coffee, drink it like a man. If your going to drink alcahol drink it hard, if your going to smoke, smoke nonfilter.
Luckily I just drink my coffee black.

Black, nothing in it. Adding stuff just messes up the flavor and adds calories! Ever notice if you order coffee black they still ask you if you want them to leave room for cream??? It is automatic, they don't listen.
I don't drink coffee anymore, but I sure like those vanilla lattes I buy every now and then, good stuff.
No cream, lotsa sugar. I don't live in cold weather so I actually drink pop early in the morning. Coffee was always a winter thing growing up.
Do you think that by adding sugar and mostly creamer or milk defeats the porpuse of really tasting the coffee?
Specially expensive coffees.
since i like sugar and creamer in my coffee i stick with regular priced coffee.Dont know why but at least for me ,if i drink straight black coffee it gives me the you know what. maybe its just me dont know.Anyone has this problem specially if i drink it first thing in the morning.

Sometimes the cheap stuff needs the flavor messed up just a little

With a little (not too light) cream, half and half or whole milk and no sugar. I rather drink it black than too light because I like the taste of coffee.
I'm not a fussy guy but I'm very fussy about how much cream/milk I take in my coffee. One of my favorite coffees is McDonalds but I don't let them add the cream...but rather I add one of those little creamers to a large coffee.
