Most people I suppose drink it black or with cream and sugar. Anyone using salt? I read the other day that just a tiny bit of salt can help reduce the bitter taste in some coffees. The salt interferes with the bitter taste bud.

I tried it and I must say that it really brightened up the flavor. My son has used salt in his coffee for quite some time.

So what do you all put in your coffee?

If I’m making it at home, two small spoons of sugar and a splash of half and half cream. If I’m getting it at McDonald’s or Tim Hortons I ask for double double. I don’t drink hot coffee though, I prefer it ice cold

Somehow you didn’t answer the question like Zee09 did 🤔

Why would I want to remove the bitter taste? Best part.

BTW - if your looking to remove the acidity due to stomach issues they do produce low acid coffees.
I don’t like that bitter taste. I really don’t like a strong overpowering coffee flavor, I basically like a sweet treat with a hint of smoother coffee taste (plus the caffeine, although I also make decaf iced coffee). The coffee that I buy is always a medium blend too and I buy a lot of flavored coffee as well

My drink of choice at Starbucks is hazelnut oatmilk shaken espresso. Venti has 4 shots of espresso. I probably should go half / half decaf.

Its my treat.

I would probably like a lot of the fancy coffees at Starbucks but I find it intimidating in there. I still don’t know what all of the sizes mean and there are just too many choices to confuse me. Plus I don’t feel like paying $8 for a coffee 😳

Please don't tell me the price. I don't want to know.

I have two daughters of the correct age to order. :ROFLMAO:

There are a few Starbucks locations in the tourist area of Niagara Falls that I pass by daily in the tourist season and I’m honestly afraid to know what they charge. Everything in the tourist areas are priced higher than the exact same stuff just a few miles away 😬

Black and strong, as God intended. I don’t see adding salt as a violation though and I have never heard of that one. Interesting.

I definitely don’t understand the obsession with turning your coffee into the calorie equivalent of an ice cream sundae. No wonder so many young people are fat. 😮

To each their own. I don’t understand how people can drink it black. Tastes like death to me 🤣
