I don't know how they're pricing that stuff so high south of the border. When it's rolled back here, it's $25 or less, often down to a hair under $20. Charging more for it than M1 is crazy.

I just PP 22.50$ with a 15$ off mail in rebate there is a lot of good UOA for PP and the cost is low with the 15$ rebate

Price of Synpower is very abnormal, sometimes it was more than M1 some other times it was less. Price per quart of 5 quart jug is less than quart bottle for all brands except Synpower, at least I saw it at more than 1 Walmart in So Cal, quart bottle was $5/qt and 5-qt jug was $29.xx.

Get PP + K&N filter from Advanced Auto for $20 + $10 rebate.

PP has been the quietest in our 05 TL by far. M1 by far the noisiest. Castrol was somewhere in the middle.

I've used them all in our cars and I prefer the Mobil 1. Right now, I'm using the 0W-30, but will probably switch back to the 0W-20 next time, at least in our Honda.

Thanks for all the replies. For right now I might grab a jug or 2 of the PP 0w20. Those rebates certainly sweeten the deal!

They aren't the same, it's been discussed here. Having said that I'd use the Mobil 1, unless you can get a deal on the PP somewhere. I cleaned up on Mobil 1 at PB so I'm good for at least 2 years worth of oil changes.

It would be nice to have that choice in Canada WM. My local WM has one selection of 0W20 which is M1 and it is usually $44 for 5 quarts and I have never seen it on sale.

Couldn't resist the current rebates on the PP. Ended up getting both jugs for $22.47 each and then I will get $30 back in rebates.

$14.94 for 10qts of PP? I'll take it.

The 0w-20 is excluded from the rebates.

See the Pennzoil rebate website for details.
