Florida license plate frame law

12% of cars in the U.S. are uninsured. That is why our required uninsured coverage is so expensive.

No one in charge seems to care. If they did they would go after those people instead of license frames.
In Maryland if you don't return your tags you get nailed. .. a fine per day.
No insurance seems to require you to hit someone first before they take action
 
The wife’s ten year old license plate frame. According to the NC DMV, it’s illegal. She’s such a rabid Duke fan even though N.C. Is a one plate state, I’m not about to tell her we’re going to have to get rid of it. 🏀

For a while KY had license plates that “featured” the twin spires logo of Churchill Downs. I took the position that I had the right to determine what companies advertised on my plate so I covered both spires with BMW Car Club of America decals.

That would be like Maryland featuring the Preakness since it's a business as well as event. Maryland is buying the Preakness franchise now, though I expect we'll continue to get Lord Calvert's coat of arms or crabs on our tags.
