My marlin .22 LR tube fed. Can shoot 200 rounds for a few bucks, dont need hearing protection, and my shoulder isnt sore the next morning. Bought it in the 90's for $89. Still the best $89 I ever spent.
So I asked one of the guys at RangeUSA and he said an out-of-state buyer would have to have it transferred to an IL FFL but legally the IL FFL cannot accept the transfer or else the FFL holder is at risk.
I didn't like the one I shot so much except when loaded with .45 Colt. I thought the recoil was just too much with Casull loads. One cylinder was more than enough for me.
I always wanted a S&W Model 19. It was my division issued sidearm when I was a cop. My wife wanted to buy me one years ago but the guy in the local gun store up sold her a 686 instead. I wasn't too disappointed. I think it's my overall favorite.
Favorite....surprisingly LCP-.22. This little bugger, unlike the original LCP, is FUN to shoot! It goes with me on every range trip and burns through .22 like popcorn.
Want....S&W M&P .22 Magnum. 30 rounds per mag! I think one of these would be a hoot. Maybe next summer.
