Driven DT40 does not have LL01 certification but the specs do seem good. Has anyone used this oil in their gen 1 or gen 2 b58?

I live in Southern California and have upgraded fuel system running additional port injection on full E85.

If you're running full E85 all the the time, you need to change the oil quite a bit more frequently. Since you're in SoCal, I'd just run Mobil Racing 15w50 synthetic and change every 2-3K miles.

If you want cheaper off-the-shelf oil I would run Mobil 1 X2 5W-50 if you are so highly tuned.

Personally I'd use DI40, running secondary port injection doesn't change the desire for a DI-friendly additive pack. I have friends racing on DT40 with e85 (DI+PI) without issue though.

I wouldn't call it mid-tier, just overpriced. But FCP stocks it, so after a couple changes it's much cheaper than HPL.

I can’t find a data sheet for the bad ass racing oil 5w40. Just want to see HTHS and NOACK..
I recommended based on my conversation with Dave from HPL about S55 running ethanol. He recommended BAS 5W40 as it can handle alcohol (made specifically for that) and it has additive package suitable for street.

The HTHS is ~4.1 cP. HPL uses TGA for volatility instead of Noack. A rough cross-reference estimation for Noack would be 6-7%.

The oil is bred from alcohol racing from Sprints and monster trucks on methanol to turbo E85 LS airboats. It's specifically formulated to deal with high heat and alcohol dilution.

Driven DT40 isn't a bad product. There's improvements coming to it in the near future.

The data sheet I have says 4.4 for BAS 5w40 is that wrong?

Any specs on their 10W-60 or 5W-50?
