And yet the McDonald’s were always packed and you had a line out the door at KFC, especially on the weekends. Pork katsudon was huge, more popular than chicken from what I was told

The farms where they raised wagu was very interesting, especially how they massaged the cattle and fed em saki

Milk was not that popular as it was powdered & reconstituted and had a long shelf life

I think the key here is, omnivores with generally a very low calorie intake overall. With almost, like NONE, NO processed foods.
