Which brand of motor oil has the thickest/most durable quart containers?

Oh, they sent me squishy bags đź‘€
Oh, you mean like this?

My question here isn't your standard one. I'm interested in keeping a quart of oil in my car full-time for emergencies. I'm simply trying to find the most durable quart container that has no chance of breaking open and ruining my trunk space. Do you find any brands more durable than others? Thanks!
You’re not as unique as you think:

Why would you ask such a question? Seriously!!??

Give it a wrap with bubble wrap or AstroFoil …

My observation is Castrol containers are the sturdiest. The worst seem to be either SOPUS containers, or M1 containers.

Motul ,liquid moly, amsoil are best and worst are pennzoil and Mobil 1 they I have few Mobil 1 just leak in self by temperature swings. And valvoline and royal purple ok

I don’t recall any Mobil 1 container leak in transit or storage …
(Decades of use) … I have a stash of several brands now - nothing has leaked …
Only recall a Valvoline gear oil bottle leak at the cap …
As others suggested - find something to put the bottle in …

Yeah, dad uses Mobil Delvac and still reuses those early 90’s sideways looking jugs. Never any issues. I reuse them a lot still. SOPUS jugs
And quarts; that’s a whole other story

Apparently BITOG has run out of things to discuss, and now we've morphed the "thickest oil" debate into the search for the "thickest oil container" ...
SMH ...

I keep a spare quart of inexpensive ST in the void under the spare tire. Done it for years. Never once worried about the viability of the container.

I will go out on a limb here and hang my neck out. While it may be a silly question to you, why not ignore it and go about your day without the snarky comment?
Of the "staff", you seem to be the worst offender regarding snarky comments. The "staff" is supposed to keep it civil, the second part of your comment was perfect. The first part could have been left out.
Just an observation.

Why not just buy a new quart of oil a year, and rotate the old one to the crankcase?
Put it in a gallon ziploc as a backup to ease any undue stress you may be experiencing.
Crisis averted.
I think a ziplock bag will need more protection in the trunk than that quart bottle. Contact with almost anything in a vibration rich environment will hole it.

What's the oil capacity of your vehicle? Put a quart of oil in your car for "emergencies" and just rotate it out with a new one at the next OCI?
If you're going to do this, at least it'll never be an old quart of oil or an old container keeping it contained that you use for "top off".

I keep a quart in the tool box in my truck that is stuffed full of garden tools. Only protection that the bottle has is that it resides in a cat litter bucket, which it shares with a gallon jug of A/F, a gallon of washer fluid, and a couple of funnels. Much vibration in that environment, and never had an issue, even without a ziploc. It should be fine with the ziploc as added insurance.

*gulp*/ban incoming....

HPL has the worst containers out of any I've used. No clear strip on side for measuring AND they leak/weep from the tops worse than any others I've used once open. I love me some HPL but the containers are meh....clearly not their focus and that's fine by me as the lubricants are excellent and I can understand why a small outfit isn't bothering with top-of-line containers like Liquimoly has.
