What oil would you recommend for me?

Ok I drive a 1998 S10 pickup 2.2L Auto with 95K miles on it I would call my driving style severe. I have expermented with alot of diffrent oils since Ive had the truck and im not sure if I have been using the right thing I have tryed Castrol GTX to Royal Purple and everthing in between (syntec Mobil 1 havoline).
my question is what oil would you recommend me using.

The cheapest SM 5w-30 you can find.

I'd use the maxlife in that one. Lots o' seal conditioners and a proven additive package.

Best Higher Mileage oil by FAR is QS Higher mileage engine 10w30 with slick 50. Hate QS but I've never used a better dino. More importantly, How do you keep that ignition working? - I recall long secondary wires climbing up the back wall of the block and the coil down the back of the engine somwhere oddly placed.
