Lubrication Engineers
Like Schaeffer Oil, they aim primarily at heavy-duty commercial, industrial, agricultural, etc. Good products, though, IME, and they have automotive stuff, too.

These folks. Even I heard of them as it’s what dad used in his stuff.who?
Are those the ones they use to strain the Vacuum Tower Bottoms process stream? That stuff is nasty! That refinery unity is pretty dangerous as well, product is almost always 900*F+.picking my oil sand filters
Thats not niceTell us you have no clue while not telling us you have no clue.
Even people that have been using Lucas for 35 years?Thats not nice. I think 35 years of using a product does show that "they have a clue".
He does not. Not all oils are compatible with all engines.Thats not nice. I think 35 years of using a product does show that "they have a clue".
The OP has an Outback, Charger, and a Rav - wants to go 5k with an oil from an US company. One guy recommends M1 EP +couple dozen agree - but to one he's clueless ...Thats not nice. I think 35 years of using a product does show that "they have a clue".
Well, if lucas oil (not the snake oil) performed for 35 years with no lubricant related failures, I would say it is good to go. It would not be my choice however. He was talking about M1 though.Even people that have been using Lucas for 35 years?
