What are your thoughts on store brand motor oils?

They cheap because less advertising and less money spent on certified products. Used additives that mostly cost less and less base oil than premium products.

Yup, and for the majority of vehicles, works just find when used with appropriate oil change intervals.

I've been using the Fram Euro 5w40 for a bit now. It's $4.10 a quart when I buy it. Seems to be working ok? but who would know otherwise. I really haven't seen anything posted about it.
