What are you eating right now?

Kraut with Mg and K citrate, smoked black cod, avocado with KCl and hemp oil, nuts with potassium citrate

Blood sugar 115 to start.
Great this and that and the other. Why the K supplementation? Do you tend to run low on K? The avo already has already around 700 mg of K or about 1/6 the RDA and the fish and nuts have a lot of potassium, too.

I was working hard from 6AM until around 11AM. Warmed right up in the direct sun. I wasn't dripping sweat but I was only drinking pure (RO) water. Gonna do a couple hours of pickleball on friend's asphalt (ugg) courts. Yesterday was roasty enough for me. Maybe high 70's today!

That explains it then. It's only in the mid-50s here today.

Basic cheeseburger, fries, and iet coke at Cheeseburger in Paradise Honolulu. $23.55 , with tip 28.55.

Burger was better than expected, hit the spot. Very small portion of fries, which I was fine with.

As I have shown previously, I make my own chocolate, chocolate bars, and so on. I am testing two kinds of chocolates I made. Chocolate with coffee and almonds is the basis for both kinds. The larger chocolates are topped with pistachios, the smaller ones are each topped with one hazelnut. I used silicone molds. I am satisfied with the outcome. Especially good with a glass of red wine. Now I'll have to make a few large batches for Mom, my aunts, and my MIL. Don't forget, Mother's Day is coming up!

For something like this, I use Callebaut 70% mixed with a little Callebaut 33.6%. I use caffeinated instant coffee that I work into a fine powder by hand with a mortar and pestle so it won't add grit.

Yeah that's great for Die-beatus

It depends on self-control and the quality of the product. Dark chocolate has low sugar content to none and is actually beneficial to good health. For example, it lowers blood pressure. It also contains good amounts of copper, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, and zinc. You can get chocolate that has no sugar at all in it. When I make my own chocolate I use inulin as a sweetener and maybe a trivial amount of maple syrup.

You are educating the educated. 😊

Blood glucose now 112.

Going to treat myself with plain yogurt with homemade low sugar raspberry jam

Check back later

3 good dollops of the jam (it was bumbleberry, not raspberry) and a healthy amount of stupid NON FAT Greek yogurt (I want the FAT!!) that the skinny Asian wife buys (ugg) - I say because it has too many carbs and no fat for what it is.

Glucose level, 120!

I have trained my body back to being insulin sensitive.
