Back home for Easter? Good for you!
Yes, get home at 0200 Saturday morning. Easter Sunday with my Bride, taking off Monday to work on the Lexus rebuild, and then back on a plane in Tuesday. I am working away from home the next six weeks, but I should get back home in weekends.

Ice cream from a local joint with Granddaughter. They make it there. Good but expensive.

We filled my car with fuel and then washed it and went for ice cream. She will be driving it this weekend and bringing it back Monday after work. I don't drive and don't want her putting alcohol fuel in the tank. Hard enough burning out the fuel before it gets old. Showed her how to add fuel stabilizer before filling the tank. Had a nice visit with her.

Chinese food. It’s always nice when it’s Friday and you get Chinese to close out the week. Not the Chinese place I wanted in particular tonight but the family was visiting and overstayed their welcome lol. So we didn’t get to get anything till around 9 so this was the only place open. And I even convinced the parents to eat it too haha. I’ll try and talk them into it again tomorrow and Sunday as well. This is truly the only food besides steak and Chipotle that I like.

Where is the picture of the fortune from your fortune cookie????

Traeger chicken with carrots and my garden potatoes mashed. Did maybe an 18 hour mild brine with the usual salt, spices but added orange slices. This never disappoints! Crisp skin, super juicy, tender and full of flavor. I shoot for the 170 to 180F internal breast temp. 1.5 hours at 350 and then another hour at 375. The leg bones just slide out so you know its just right.
