Miso soup with shirataki noodles and seaweed.

Shirataki is made from the soluble fiber of the konjac root. This fiber is undigestible but a fantastic prebiotic feeding the good bacteria in the gut flora. Shirataki noodles have no usable carbs and no calories. If you are not used to shirataki, don't eat a whole bowl but work your way up slowly over the course of a few days. Don't say I didn't warn you. Bon appétit!
