Went looking at new Corolla's with/for a buddy. Nope, not happening.

My buddy bought one of them there inexpensive Jettas a couple years ago. He absolutely hates it. A lot of little things have broken in it.

That wasn't my experience with my GTI, but the scheduled maintenance wasn't cheap. It was well built.
