If it works as they claim, it will likely end up with other manufacturers introducing similar products.I am curious too where this all ends up.......
A win win for us.

I just saw it yeah it's crazyHas anyone else seen the August 24 review from amazon customer titled "Incredible Stuff." ?
I know a lot of us are more interested in piston ring cleaning.
However, the person shows a sludged up 2007 Chevy turning into a sparkling new engine with one use, 3000 miles.
Would any synthetic had such a dramatic before and after?
Note - sorting the reviews from newest to oldest would help you find it.
Grew a cylinder too, imagine that. Plus a host of additional improvements to that engine, take a closer look.
As @GSCJR noted, it was so effective it even turned it from a V6 into a V8!Has anyone else seen the August 24 review from amazon customer titled "Incredible Stuff." ?

Yeah something didn't look right to begin with.

Someone sent me a Link to this a while ago, and I did not know that Chevrolet made an engine with 8 Rocker Arms on 1 side and 6 Rocker Arms on the other side. The other thing that is amazing is that both cylinders look different, and they also have a different bolt pattern for the Valve Covers.
A winner for sure, turn V6 into V8 power and clean the engine too. I'm in, and if you believe that I have a bridge and a few used cars to sell you.As @GSCJR noted, it was so effective it even turned it from a V6 into a V8!

One thing I’m curious about is if Valvoline is going to use a small portion of this new chemistry for the rest of the oils they sell? From a marketing perspective that would be a great move for them. As it stands now a lot of people might consider switching back to their previous oil once they have done the 4 intervals with R&P. But if they had their other synthetic products saying “featuring the restore and protect technology” on the labels it could just entice people to stick with Valvoline long term. So far it’s definitely looking like they have a popular product right out of the gate but I’m sure they would like to gain more long term customers as well. (Of course a lot of people might just stick with R&P as their regular oil going forward too)
Ontario? The Valvoline oil change place close to my house is now offering Restore and Protect ...
I posted a Valvoline 1MM miles teardown comparison.... https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/synthetic-vs-conventional-teardown.387479/
It seems like Valvoline is very transparent with their research.
btw- I got my $5 instant rebate for R&P ...instantly. Going in the A5 Beetle very soon.![]()
