I don't use it myself but I'm fairly sure that our local Gander Mountain has .22, with restrictions on the quantity that can be purchased. May be worth checking.
I spoke to the manager at my hometown wal mart and they have not had any 22 for a month. Somewhere along the pipeline someone is hoarding it...not out of fear I believe but just to flip for profit.
I have been able to grab a box here and there from the local Wal Mart. Spring is coming, and we have a place to shoot, and my son got a new Marlin semi....
