Baby carrots, good for the eyes and crunchy. Gives a little energy also. Apples, bananas etc...

Sargento Pepper Jack cheese extra thin slices are very good. New product just out. I think they have 40 calories per slice. Otherwise, you can get in trouble with cheese, as far as nutrition goes. Of course I had pizza for lunch so now I have to watch it.

Love sharp cheddar. But these days I like a small amount of "Kerry Gold", imported cheddar. Mmm...

Our local competition to Costco is BJ's and they have these rice chips we are simply addicted to. At $5 a bag I wish we'd cut back: I think we make it 3 days at best on a bag.

Myself, I like a small plate with a few peanuts (the roasted "sea salt" Planters variety), aforementioned Kerry gold, and rice chips. About a half serving of each. Maybe with some crasiens. Although some apple wedges go good. Some cheap pinot grigio to round it. Maybe while watching Top Gear [the UK version of course], makes for a proper evening. Maybe Foyles War.

During the day hours I'll either do some Chobani yougurt or Thomas Lite Hearty English muffins, lots of fiber, little calories. I usually don't bother with toasting or butter.

Growing up sometimes we had ants on a log. Celery, with peanut butter filled in the middle, then raisins on the PB.

this is a great thread...I typically like any kind of leftovers...mashes potatoes, meat, soup, cold or hot it's all good... If I'm being lazy I just "eat" coffee

Carrots are good, and healthy. I also have chips and salsa, or pretzel sticks, but these aren't very healthy.

I've always wanted to try some of those German breads, one of these days I'll buy a package.

Occasionally I'll get some hummus and chips to go with it.

Of course during the summer months I do ice creams. Hey, here's a question: my brother lives down in Texas, and when he's up he makes it a point to get hard serve ice cream. He says it's a rarity down there. Is that true? I can't remember the last time I had soft serve ice cream.

Chocolate covered almonds, ketchup dipped veggie straws, animal crackers, highly flavored goldfish crackers, cheezy popcorn chips, various baked flavored potato chips, pretzels dipped in mustard.

Big fan of dried cranberries. IMO they're 10x better than any candy I've had. I can make myself sick off of a bag of those.

Cucumber slices and cherry/grape tomatoes are some of my other favorites.

But if we want to talk about not so great choices, I'd go for some beef stick or Lebanon bologna with some Colby jack or cheddar. Also, I'm guilty of enjoying some of the super horrible for you Slim Jims.

I munch on apples, bananas, and oranges when in season.I do occasionally eat some broccoli, carrots or cauliflower with a small amount of of ranch, very small. I also eat a lot of yogurt and cottage cheese.

I eat Yogurt every day. Infact I could not imagine my life without good greek yogurt. I think it is once of my top choices for sure. I am bad with snacks though otherwise, I rarely have snacks. (I believe it's a good way to eat, often but little)
