I dont know much about them but it caught me off guard. I saw this nice looking wide white pickup in front of me. Noticed it was a new Hummer. Thought to myself this must be the new EV. Sped up, drove side by side as he was about to exit the interstate.
I dont know what model but there was the EV symbol on the side.
I have to say, to me, it was some "pretty" looking pickup. I mean, for the pickup crowd that doesnt do much with actual pick up truck work and its insane tow rating. No one can say this isnt a real truck. I thought it was really nice.

I knew I saw something about these here before. I finally saw one today. It was matte green so I assume it was a wrap. That front light bar really does make it instantly recognizable.

I'm looking at one as I eat my lunch

I saw a regular hummer EV today. Buying one of those you're definitely not doing the world any favors.
Exactly what I am trying to do, no favors, just gas guzzling luxury and comfort for the wide open road trips. 🙃 Comfort and room rule.
The EV would be for shopping runs so the EV Hummer wouldnt work for me unless money was no object in my life because I would still want the luxury Ice Cruiser Truck for the open road.

I saw one today in the wild as well, parked in front of a nail salon where I’ve also seen an electric Porsche parked previously. It’s impressive looking, but not the kind of thing I can justify for my use case.

Saw my first one today in a Starbucks parking lot. Was walking, it pulled out and drove away. Very nice, all black, a woman was driving it.

I don't think there's anything that can be justified. This is just purely in the want category and I get it. There's nothing that makes sense about it. Heck even home charging on 240V is slow just because of the size of the battery. It's got more battery than both of my Teslas combined.

As an exercise in excess it is impressive. I just don't see a reason to even attempt to daily drive this if you drive a lot. Doesn't make it look any less cool though!

I saw one either on Thanksgiving Eve or Black Friday.

I can't remember which, though. It was in the evening, then the front lights were pretty neat, and I agree; it was pretty cool-looking. I have no idea which edition I saw.

I think the GMC Sierra EV is more my style as I like a bit more subtle stuff. Cool vehicle nonetheless. If you have solar, still probably better for the environment over the course of 5 years of typical daily driving than a gas SUV/pickup.
