How about the rest of you ?

I'm assembling the paraphernalia to gouge my eyes out and stab my eardrums.

My wife LOVES royal weddings...thank goodness that they are comparatively rare.

Funny thing is, no royals are getting married today.

Megan is a foreigner and blood relative of a major drug supplier.
Harry is the [censored] offspring of a woman brought in as breeding stock for Charles, and a chap who was in the army.

AND

They didn't have the £40k to fireproof Grenfell Towers and save many lives, but they do have the £300k to make a show and dance about a wedding that nobody cares about.

Olas, very erudite, and a welcome addition.

I'm off to watch some Icke with the headphones on.

I'm not trying to be contentious or unpleasant, only trying to add to the discussion. Part of the problem with reading words on a screen is the lack of facial expression and tone of voice..

Uhuh, right.

I'm watching MotoGP Qualifying...on my computer, the TV is off. The wife hardly knows who they are, so I'm safe in that department.

While in a checkout line at Walmart yesterday I saw the headlines in a lurid tab: Pre-Wedding Bombshell - Prince Charles to Harry: "I'm Not Your Father - This Man Is!" This was accompanied by photos of Charles (not looking at all like Harry), Harry, and a red-haired man (the purported biological father).

I didn't find this as entertaining as the one in the late '80s with the grainy photo of the small woman in the pillbox hat pushing the wheelchair with the slumped man with the leonine head - "JFK Survived!"

It was in print media, so it must be true.

No, I'm not watching - I'll read for awhile and have a cup of tea, and will then do some work on Jr's ancient vehicle. Too early here to start - would wake the neighbours.

Good to know as I can't imagine had you been "trying" what that might have read like.

Whole idea of royalty silly to me. That said, no animus towards the newlyweds.

Appendix still has use, we are working that out at the present time.

unlike the house of Saxe-Coburg Gotha Windsor
