I recently came into possession of this and I'm wondering what I can actually use it in?

I drive an 08 frontier 4.0L and I'm not sure if its a good idea for my truck? Can I throw this stuff in my mower or the snowblower?

Have you checked your owners manual for your Frontier? Is there any mention of 0w-40 in it?

Should work just fine in a snowblower.

You'd better just use what the manuals say. Send it my way and I'll use it for bar oil in my saw.

Personally I have no problem running it in anything and everything, anytime of year. I'd bet its better oil than what you have in your truck right now.

You have in your posession an oil you don't see on this side of the border.
Use it in your Nissan without hesitation.
Better yet, send that garbage oil my way.

I echo these thoughts

You can use it in any application regarding mtor oil.

Unless t requires Purple Motor Oil, you are fine.

Well I have run a 40 weight before in my frontier with no issue. I'm more concerned about this being a heavy duty diesel oil and any additives that may be hazardous to my truck. I have an oil change with Syntec 5w30 due up next, but I wouldn't mind running this thru the summer if I can. It's not a big deal, I think the blower would enjoy it but I'd like to use it in the truck if possible.

Rotella T5 0w40 ... really.
I did not know that such a thing existed!

Hmmmmm.

I would not hesitate to run it in any engine equipped with an oil sump.

Rickey.

If you've run Xw40 weight before, then this Rotella 0w40 won't hurt it. It does have higher ZDDP than your run of the mill SM rated enegy conserving Xw30 but then again so does the 40wt oil you ran previously.

Read the bottle, if it is rated SM like the other Rotella oils you are fine

Isn't Rotella T5 0w-40 NOT SM rated? Something like SJ?

Doesn't it also have an absolute buttload of ZDDP and such?

I believe you are correct. I was looking at it today; it was on sale at Canadian Tire. I was checking specs to see how the SN and GF-5 stuff was coming along and also felt like checking some HDEOs. I was surprised that it had such a dated gasoline spec. Considering that I have nothing that requires even SL, much less SM or SN, so it would work for me.

Use that oil in everything you own!
Once I get some more hours on my lawn tractor it will be going in it too. I really like how the gray bottles looks when I grab one in each hand and walk up to the counter to pay.

Very, very good oil, but as others have said, it is only 'SJ' rated. It's not the rating or the visc. your truck specs, might want to wait until it is out of warranty......
