Reading Havoline date codes.

I see the last numer ends in 05, but preceding that it said like "24" or something. Was that the 24th week in 05? I need a 5q jug of 5w-30, any tips?

The quarts I picked up at AutoZone had very faint dates at the upper part of the quart, in purple no less thereby making it twice as difficult to read. But look up there and you should see it. Mine read 5/24/05 and it was 5w20.
