He had the vehicle shipped to Dave's Auto Center in Utah for a complete rebuild. They mentioned to him to switch to Motul oil with more viscosity, instead of the Mobil 1 0W-40 he was using.
It cost him around $30K for all of the work you see being done here. Parts for this engine are getting extremely difficult to locate. And they are very expensive when you do find them.
RAM trucks blow up because they were made by chrysler. The oil is irrelevant.
