The only new car I did a test drive before sign the paper works was 1982 Toyota Supra. Test drove that car for no more than 5 -10 minutes and bought it the same afternoon.

I just bought a car last week and didn't drive it until it was delivered. It was still wrapped in plastic, and I had driven that model before so I figured why bother.

Reality is if you don't test drive you won't really know another vehicle is better or worst for the individual situation. Which of course has good and bad parts.

That's what I did with my focus. I had test drove a different one with an automatic transmission. The car did what I needed to do ... but it didn't have the correct number of pedals. So they did a dealer trade.

Congrats on the dart!

Get the extended on this one....you'll thank me later. Just in case it tries to nickel and dime you later!

I take delivery tomorrow after work but right up front they are very different cars I will update once I know more

Hopefully you're getting a fantastic deal on the Dart.

Dealers over here seem to be willing to deal on them really good, so hopefully you did better than just MSRP on your new car.

BC.
