PP 5W30, 5300 miles, 2004 Dodge Intrepid 3.5L HO

This car is driven daily to work. 20 miles one way, suburban commute with some 55mph time. Tried PP this time vs. Durablend last time. The oil consumption (1 qt./4k miles) still annoys me. Iron is higher but I have more miles this time. I also went with an "oversized" PureOne filter.

not that bad of a report at all. iron is higher, residual from the durablend??

I would run pp again and see if things settle down.
 
Yes--the Durablend had much less iron even after accounting for the mileage difference. I'm running PP again this round. We'll see if it repeats. The Durablend did a very good job--the only issue was slightly low viscosity (not shown here).
