GTI/R?
Wife’s 2.0T Atlas. It take 6 qts but I always keep an extra quart around.GTI/R?
How does this compare price-wise to the equivalent M1 504 oil?
Same/same depending on retailer. It’s made by Mobil anyway. How does this compare price-wise to the equivalent M1 504 oil?
Just curious - I wonder how it compares to the M1 ESP 0W30 (same?)?Same/same depending on retailer. It’s made by Mobil anyway.
Hows the TSI in that tank? We've eyed them since the debut, but only considered the VR.Wife’s 2.0T Atlas. It take 6 qts but I always keep an extra quart around.
I haven’t looked at any UOA’s to compare but I would assume they are similar enough.Just curious - I wonder how it compares to the M1 ESP 0W30 (same?)?

IS38 time...hahahahahaahI haven’t looked at any UOA’s to compare but I would assume they are similar enough.
Very surprising. I think they sandbagged the power numbers a little bit. I didn’t feel like I was really giving up anything to the VR6. The torque down low really cleans it up. The tiny TSI in the engine bay is hilarious though. View attachment 68712
Edit: sorry for getting off topic.
Excellent!@SR5
Also recently bought Castrol GTX HM 10w30 blend. Nice 3.0HTHS and 11.7 cSt@100c
15w40 ultraclean?Excellent!
We get two GTX UltraClean semi-synthetics over here, a 10W30 and a 15W40 with Euro specs.
The 10W30 is rarely on sale here, but the 15W40 is regularly seen at a very good price. Aussies love a good 15W40 PCMO at a good price, and this usually brings them through the door. I’ve seen it at $3 per litre, which is as good as it gets in Australia for a name brand PCMO rated SN/CF & A3/B3.
Nice, a blend where the 10w is a match to the 5w, most I’ve seen the 5w is usually thicker at op temp.@SR5
