Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

I dunno. Does the media deteriorate over time or does it still work the way it intended? I assume synthetic fibers remain intact but this one is synthetic blend.

I wouldn’t at a certain age like 30 years but 15 years doesn’t seem too bad. I’d run it. I have no information to back that up. Just what I’d be comfortable with as long it looks fine and isn’t rusty on the metal.

Kirkland oil a few weeks ago and Super Tech filters for my Toyota today and Fram for the Subaru today as I was near a Walmart. Planning to change both by the end of May.

This one is pre-OG and the box says synthetic blend media.
Yeah, it's not. It's a "blend" of synthetic medias, not a "blend" media, a bit misleading and needlessly confusing unfortunately. I don't recommend C&P'ing it (I'd use it!) but it is the two shades of pink media that you would see in an OG.

I don't have a picture but I just bought a gallon of 15w-40 supertech for my small engines. 4 stroke string trimmer/ edger, push mower, sons' go-kart, and my riding mower. I use 15w-40 because I live in Florida so the oil gets hot in all these air cooled engines, I prefer lower VII oils due to reduced risk of heavy shearing, and "think oil make monke brain less worry." Hahaha

I bought a jug of Castrol EP 0w20 at Walmart for $25.97 on 'Rollback' last week.. It's the 25K OCI oil but I'd never go that far on any oil. I'll probably use it in the Mazda CX-30. It may not be a 'boutique' oil but it's a very good oil at a very good price IMO.
