Dealer assured me several times that 10000 miles for normal driving is great. My thoughts are to go with M 1 , a good filter every 5000. Keeping the car forever. Opinions appreciated

Often I hear the Car Pro say to drive the car with the base engine first - and if satisfied start to haggle … they want you to fall in love with the next model - and the total cost of ownership escalatesI think 7500 miles is the sweet spot. These have a 1.8L engine with a 4.4 qt sump.
I have a 21' Corolla Hybrid. The 23's have more horsepower, but lower highway fuel economy. AWD is available on 23's as a $995 option on the LE trim. AWD cost more on certain other trims however.
Gas mileage is more like 53 MPG, not 55.1 shown in this instance. Yes, cruising down the highway doing 74 MPH at 1500 RPM in an econobox.

OE filter is cheap, no way I'd leave it.5K OCI with OE filter every 2nd or 3rd service. Cheap insurance.
