Toyota Hybrid 2.5l oil options? Anything new?

The dilemma…I have both 0W-20 and 0W-16 Premium Plus on hand.

I am thinking of ordering some 0W-12

I replaced factory fill with 0W-20 to help with the dilution.

0w-20 will eventually become 0w-16, ya think?

And no, 0W8 & 0W12 GLV-1 will become 0W16 & 0W20 with Jaso GLV-2 spec.

So, in other word, you want to gaslight the dealer and the company behind them.. No wonder companies are so worried about scammers.

Stealers deserve to get a taste of their own medicine for what they do to innocent everyday people on a daily basis.

And why would that be? Are you suggesting that a Toyota cannot run on the same oil in Japan and Pennsylvania? I understand the question if posed as Japan vs Texas. That wasn't my use case.

For my wife's 2023 Camry hybrid I use Mobil 1 0w-16 and the OEM filter as they were on sale for $3.50 per at the dealer and I bought 10 of them. I also put a Fumoto valve on which I find to be so nice. I change the oil every 5k.

Your wife won't notice. Run ESP 0W-30.
Been there, done that.

If it were up to you the factory fill would probably be made up of 5 different brands of oil
